“An accurate tee shot is needed to carry onto the long, narrow, green steeply sloping from back to front. Favour the right side as any ball missing left will leave a difficult recovery to find the putting surface”.
Another of our great Par 3’s. Judging the distance is tricky as the wind swirls around in the trees, missing left leaves a very difficult chip shot.

Changes to the course took place in the late 1960's with advice from Henry Cotton and it is currently being updated by Ken Moodie, to help the course stay abreast of modern day equipment whilst remaining loyal to the original concept. The Sand Moor Golf Course is an 18 hole Championship course, measuring 6,360 yards, consisting of three Par 5's, eleven Par 4's and four Par 3 holes.
