The clubhouse has an open and spacious bar and lounge area, opening out to a large, wrap around balcony which overlooks the 18th green and Putting green. Players and their guests can relax, whilst sampling some of the fine local cask ales and guest beers, selected by Luke Nichols our House Manager and wines which are selected by our expert sommelier Patrice, accompanied by freshly prepared food from Darren Senior and his catering team from the Bar Menu.
Our Chef Darren Senior joined Sand Moor Golf Club in January 2022 and brought with him a wealth of experience, gained over many years working in the very best Hotels and Restaurants both locally and internationally, not to mention many outstanding Golf Clubs in Yorkshire also.
Darren and his Catering team host frequent themed “Gastro’s Sand Moor Golf” evening events, from a Fine Dining – “5 Course Food and Wine Flight”, hosted by our expert Sommelier, Patrice, to “World Tour Venue Events” including an evening in Tuscany with some local music, or perhaps a wholesome “Yorkshire Sunday Roast”, featuring a range of perfectly cooked, locally sourced meats and fresh vegetables with all the trimmings.
