The course was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie in 1926 – who sat on the very first Greens Committee at the club – and famously went on to design Augusta National. The course is well known for its four challenging, par 3’s – The 8th, 10th, 15th and 17th holes, three of which (8th, 10th and 17th) were originally designed by MacKenzie.

Winter Golf Package

Our winter packages run from 1st November – 31st March each year and comes with the option of either Full English breakfast or bacon rolls both served with coffee on arrival, or soup and sandwiches following your round. Tee times will be available to book from 11.30am onwards and group sizes must be a minimum of 8 golfers. Package rates available on application.
