For many of us, the club has formed a valuable part of our lives, providing a platform for competitive golf, social interaction and enjoyment, in many cases generating lifelong friendships. Sand Moor takes great pride in maintaining and further developing its vision for being the most welcoming golf club in Yorkshire. The Club is soundly managed financially, however there are only limited main streams of income that can support current needs and future growth. Friends of Sand Moor provides members and friends of the club with the opportunity to make donations and bequests that will provide additional income as an investment in the Club’s future. We understand there are many worthy charities and good causes to which you could contribute. Our hope is that on reflection of your years of enjoyment at Sand Moor Golf Club you recognise how important the club is for current and future generations. In choosing to contribute you will be assisting in securing the club’s future – a legacy of helping to develop its ongoing appeal for current and prospective golfers for many years to come.

Donations of any size are very welcome and can be used for a variety of areas around the club.

Leaving a Legacy

If you have enjoyed your time as a member of Sand Moor, and would like to leave a legacy, you may wish to remember the cub in your will. Even a small legacy can make a huge difference. Whether you make a one-off donation or leave a legacy, let us know if would like to contribute towards a specific area, or you would like the club deciding on its allocation.

Friends of Sand Moor who donate, or leave a legacy, may either be formally recognised on the Club’s website, for their contribution, or keep their identity anonymous based on personal preference.
