Sand Moor's Rabbits Section is open to all male members with a playing handicap of 16 or over. It is the largest single section within the club and has its own Captain, Vice-Captain, Officials and Committee who meet regularly to manage the Rabbits Section and its activities.

The Rabbits enjoy a very full calendar of ‘friendly’ matches with other locally based clubs, a heavy programme of social events, golfing ‘outings’ and regular internal competitions.
The Section offers its unique ‘camaraderie’ and a warm welcome to new members with the appropriate handicap - joining the section is an excellent introduction to the club and to other members both on and off the course.
During the main playing season, in addition to the monthly medals and other qualifying competitions, there are major competitions and trophies played for every month. Details can be found in the Club's Handbook.
