Welcome to Sand Moor Golf Club

Sand Moor is one of the most attractive courses in Yorkshire and is situated some 5 miles to the North of Leeds City Centre in rolling countryside, there are splendid views over Eccup reservoir and the Yorkshire Dales and as far as the White Horse on the North Yorkshire Moors.

The 18 hole par 71 (SS72) championship golf course was originally developed in the 1920’s with the assistance of the renowned Dr Alistair Mackenzie – later to design Augusta, and provides an enjoyable and challenging experience for golfers of all abilities. The Club also features a modern extensively refurbished club house and changing facilities, a large practice ground, and an excellent PGA qualified professional. The final ingredient is the friendly welcome which is afforded to new members and visitors alike.
