Ladies' Golf

Sand Moor has a vibrant Ladies Section that truly welcomes experienced golfers, those wishing to improve and those who are taking up golf for the first time.

The Ladies Section has its own elected Captain, Vice-Captain, Officials and Committee that ensure the smooth running of the Section's activities including Competitions, Open Days and Social Functions.

Ladies may be 5-Day, 6-Day or 7-Day members with the same playing and voting rights as equivalent gentlemen except that they have been granted a 24 hour ‘priority’ period for the booking of tee-times one week in advance, in respect of:

Tuesdays: 09.30 am – 10.30 am Thursdays: 08.30 am – 11.52 am

Medal, Stableford and Par competitions are usually played on a Thursday but to meet the needs of an increasing number of Ladies in employment, competitions are also organised on Sundays.

Sand Moor Ladies have an enthusiastic Rabbits' Section for those with a playing handicap of 28 or over.
